ADA Compliance

This is a mandatory conversion qualification needed for commercial mobility vehicles.  Many local and regional converters do not meet the standards of ADA compliance.  All Bus & Van Solution’s manufacturers and converters meet this compliance.

QVM Endorsement 

If the vehicle you are purchasing is built on a Ford chassis, (over 90% of the buses and vans are), we feel it is mandatory to have the Ford QVM (Qualified Vehicle Modifier) endorsement.  Vehicles with this endorsement have passed Ford's strict inspection and certification process relating to the vehicle’s conversion and engineering standards.  With a non--QVM conversion, Ford could walk away from a lawsuit resulting from an accident your company is involved in, as well as you are risking the voiding of your Ford warranty.  Make sure you have a Ford QVM endorsement.  Most bus manufacturers realize the importance of QVM and have qualified for the endorsement.  Only 12 van converters in the nation have this accreditation.  At Bus & Van Solutions, all our vehicles are endorsed with QVM, FMVSS, OEM & ADA compliance.

Auto Dealer Purchases

When you request a quote from an auto dealer, they contact us to get a mobility or shuttle vehicle price – their business is selling standard show room vehicles, not  buses and conversion vans.  By buying direct from us, you eliminate local dealers’ extra fees.  You can save by buying direct!

Regional Van Converters

Many regional van converters, which convert personal mobility and shuttle vehicles, may not convert vehicles that meet the specifications needed for commercial  vehicles.  Commercial vehicles are built from the ground-up, to a much higher standard for usage and dependability.  The components and construction methods are intended to withstand the heavy, rigorous, constant use encountered daily in a commercial transportation environment.  We only recommend purchasing vans that have been converted to meet commercial conversion specifications.  Our van converters are among the only 12 Ford QVM commercially endorsed van converters in the nation.  Why purchase insurance and liability problems?  Personal and non-commercial conversion vehicles are not recommended for commercial usage.

Warranty & Repairs

Understanding that warranty and repairs can be a time consuming task for most users, all bus and van dealers work with your local auto dealers’ authorized service center on most repairs and warranty issues.  Unlike auto dealers, who sell a vehicle that is entirely manufactured by an auto manufacturer, bus and van conversions must have all warranty work done by the manufacturer of each component in the conversion to maintain the warranty. For example, local Ford dealers service Ford’s components and Braun lift issues are handled directly with an authorized Braun service center.  The vast majority of repairs are related to  the chassis manufacturer such as Ford, Chevy or Dodge and are close to home!
